We moved Sabrina and Lindsay to a Montessori school in Carson this year. It has been a bit of an adjustment. When I picked them up from school on the first day, they both said it was horrible. I told them to give it a week. When I picked Lindsay up on the second day of school, she saw me and started crying. She didn't want to talk about what was wrong in front of everyone, so when we were home she told me she got in trouble for talking. This was the note she wrote. Lindsay had never been in trouble before, so she was devastated.
Sabrina is starting to build a robot tomorrow and she is very excited about that. Now that it has been a few weeks, they have settled into a routine and are liking school more.

Nicholas started preschool! He already knows some of the kids in his class and the teachers, so it ended up being more traumatic for me than him. As excited as I was for him to go, I was a little teary eyed when I left. I have been dreaming of all the things I could get done while all of the kids are gone. The first day I took him to preschool, went to exercise, went back home to take a shower, and then it was time to pick him up. I decided that was a waste of my alone time, so I am now getting up at 5:30 to go and exercise before school. I didn't think I would ever be capable of rising so early, but so far, it is working. If I can continue this schedule, I may be able to keep my house clean.

I'm sorry you got in trouble Sabrina but it happens to everyone. I know I had my fair share. I am glad you are adjusting though. Happy school days.
