What a difference a school makes

It's hard to believe that the 5th week of school started today. Nicholas had a bit of a rough start. His kindergarten class had 30 kids in it and he was not adjusting well. He was getting in trouble and crying every day because he hated school. I now take him to the Montessori School that Sabrina and Lindsay went to last year, and he loves it. Every day he is excited to go. The class that he is in now has 15 kids, with a teacher and an aide. He needs that extra attention. It is worth the extra drive. Sabrina and Lindsay have both been loving school. They are happy to be back with friends and they both like their teachers.I am still trying to adjust to a schedule. I'll probably have it down by Spring. People have been asking me how my time is without any kids at home. My answer - too short. I now have one hour after dropping off Nicholas until Sabrina gets out of school. Although, my kids are growing up too fast. I will be lost next year when they are all gone. (For a couple of days at least. I'm sure I will have plenty to do.)
