In Limbo
Tomorrow the movers come to pack our meager possessions. The only belongings we will have for the next few weeks (I'm hoping not months) need to fit in our suitcases. Trying to whittle down what is most important and what we will want most is a very hard thing to do. I think it may be easier to move in the summer, warm weather clothes are not so bulky. This time next week we will be on our way to the airport to board a plane for Belgium. As of this moment, no one yet can tell us where we will be living, but it will be temporary, and probably across the city from where we will end up. Our house is not yet ready and will take another month or so. It will be worth the wait, I am sure of it. The location is great and it has an abundance of stairs, which for some reason my kids have always wanted. I hope to stay put for a couple of years. Unpack some boxes, make some friends, have a fully functioning kitchen again... As for tonight, I'll finish filling up our suitcases and take our car for a drive to empty the fuel tank before we bid it farewell tomorrow and hope to gain possession of it again in 6-8 weeks. Fun times!
