My Favorite Place...
We spent a week at Twin Lakes with my family. The only one missing was Ryan, and I missed him a lot. Two parents are definitely better than one for our family.
Fishing was a big hit this year. I love how the older kids were sharing their wealth of fishing expertise with the younger kids.

While the little ones fishing did great, the only fish that were caught were by those actually using a hook. I'm told they were tasty fish.

We took a little drive to Lake ... It was beautiful.

A little rock climbing is always fun. Go Audrey!

Papa brought the boat down for us and it was very popular.

Nicholas especially liked it and would get excited whenever Lance would take him for a ride.

Leanna not only ran the 5 mile race on the 4th of July but she ran without breaking a sweat and could still breathe normally. Way to go Leanna!

While Leanna was busy running Lynda was busy making the girls hair beautiful before the parade.

Very busy...

The boys decided to go ribbon free.

It was, as you can imagine, very hot so we had a few smart people sitting in the shade.

The pre-firework show was especially exciting for Lindsay and Milana. They were sitting in the back of Grandpa's truck when a firework was launched their direction. They were saved by Audreys sweatshirt. Lindsay tried to put the fire on the sweatshirt out by banging it on the truck but it could not be saved.

The truck also left with an altered appearance. I'm glad it wasn't someones face.

Our glow stick dealer. She was (and still is) very popular.

Lynda was also the official nail painter. She had a waiting list.

Story time was a crowd-pleaser too.

Over the river and through the woods...hiking we did go.

The builders of the latest fort.

Guided tours were given and enjoyed.

And to conclude this extremely long post, a little air mattress rafting.

We can't wait to go back!
