Our Newest Bicyclist

When we left Nevada Nicholas did not yet know how to ride his bike.  Once we had his bike out of storage and came back from our US vacation it was time to learn.  

Day 1:  Nicholas was too afraid he would fall and gave up.

Day 2:  We removed the pedals and he learned to balance.  He especially loved going downhill.  

Day 3:  The pedals were put back on and he took off and rode like a pro.

His bike had been in storage and he had obviously grown.  He had to ride with his knees to the side so they wouldn't hit the handlebars.  It was pretty funny to watch.

Day 4:  A trip to the store to buy a bigger bike.  He picked it out himself and he loves it.

Day 5:  We left for a vacation in France where we rode bikes everywhere we went.  It's a good thing he's a fast learner.
