Halloween

While most of Brussels does not celebrate Halloween, we were still able to go trick-or-treating.  We dropped of candy in a neighborhood that redistributes it to the houses in the neighborhood who wish to hand it out on trick or treating night.  I was lazy this year and Sabrina and Nicholas wore last years costumes and Lindsay's was thought of and put together 20 minutes before we left the house.  No one seemed to mind.  I unfortunately forgot my camera and didn't get any pictures of Sabrina or the elaborately decorated houses.  Those who participate in the holiday don't go half way.

We happened to find out that night that Lindsay doesn't like wine.  One of the houses had hot chocolate and hot wine and she grabbed the wrong one.  We have never had that happen in Nevada.  I'll be more aware next time, and so will she.

Daniel was a jedi for the second year in a row, too. He wanted to be the same thing, and I thought - why not, it sure makes it easier for me!
We went trick-or-treating in Mexico, too, even though most of Mexico doesn't go. The kids got some interesting goodies.
